Taupo Debretts Spa Resort, Taupo

My stay was quite mixed. The location offered good facilities and a nice pool area, especially for families, but the service left a lot to be desired, which significantly affected my experience. Overall, while the amenities were appealing, the lack of professionalism from staff really impacted my visit.

I had a rather disappointing experience at this hotel. Upon arrival, the staff's lack of professionalism was shocking, and the condition of the room was not what I expected for the price. While the location was convenient for charging electric vehicles, overall, it felt more like an inconvenience than a welcoming stay. I ended up finding a better experience elsewhere.

My experience at the resort was a mixed bag. On one hand, the spa facilities were lovely and well-maintained, providing a very relaxing atmosphere. On the other hand, the remote location made it inconvenient for accessing Taupo town easily. While the room was cozy and clean, I wished the pool access fees were more accommodating for guests. Overall, a decent stay but with room for improvement.
